Position insures that LEPFA’s Food and Beverage banquet services are provided in an efficient, effective, safe and timely manner to ensure the overall appearance and integrity of the banquet activities, food quality, and atmosphere to provide a superior food and beverage experience for all LEPFA sponsored, managed/produced events and properties. Our Senior Banquet Supervisor assists in the development/ implementation of LEPFA banquet staff, our organizational and departmental policies and procedures designed to promote efficiency and quality of service within the Food and Beverage Department.

The Lansing Entertainment & Public Facilities Authority (LEPFA) seeks a Golf Operations Manager to fill our FT, year-round Golf Operations Manager position. LEPFA’s Golf Operations Manager is a customer service focused leader, with outstanding turf management knowledge and skills. Position is responsible for general maintenance, administration, management, coordination and supervision of Groesbeck Golf Course grounds/greens and operations, in compliance with golf course industry standards, to provide a superior experience for customers; as well as the planning, organizing, scheduling, controlling and monitoring of course grounds/greens and improvement of the overall appearance/integrity of the course, and associated equipment. Additionally, position supervises the grounds staff, equipment and facilities.
Skills include: knowledge and understanding of principals and techniques for the successful management of turf/course grounds, and course equipment and processes; computer skills - including office suite and golf course management software; ability to monitor contract vendor services; maintaining records; accuracy of invoices, billings and ability to routinely work with a diverse clientele and staff. Position requires irregular schedules including evenings, and weekends and holidays. Must be able to perform job duties in inclement/adverse weather conditions, and in an outdoor course setting.
A degree from accredited four-year college or university with a degree in turf management, sports management, business administration or related field. Management experience in golf course turf/management, may be substituted at the rate of two (2) years’ experience for each year of college. Five (5) years progressively responsible turf/grounds management experience required. Must have a valid Ornamental and Turf Spray license. SALARY RANGE: $40,000 - $50,000
