DESIGN & MARKETING INTERNSHIP
The Sales and Services Department seeks a paid, part-time design and marketing intern with a professional and positive attitude/demeanor, who is customer service-focused, with an outstanding attention to detail. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assist the graphic design coordinator and marketing services coordinator in the coordination, planning and execution of the design and marketing activities, responsibilities and tasks for the Lansing Center, Groesbeck Golf Course, Cooley Law School Stadium, and LEPFA community events. Internship offers a team environment experience in the planning, organizing, monitoring, and implementation of marketing team strategies. This internship will also participate in the monitoring and improvement of the reputation of LEPFA owned properties. Internship requires ability to interact with a diverse team, clientele, public and vendors in a courteous, cooperative and professional manner.
Ideal Intern must have a thorough knowledge of social networking sites including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Internship hours worked are customer/event-driven and require irregular schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays; assignments may vary based on internship expertise, development and experience. Minimum requirements: high school diploma and current enrollment in a college or university, having minimally completed one school year of college or university studies preferred.
Thorough knowledge of computer systems and graphic design programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite 6 (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) preferred. Internship will start January 7, 2019 and conclude April 19, 2019.
